Golden Sassafras, not to be confused with Blackheart Sassafras is a creamy gold colour as raw timber which aquires warm pink tones when conditioned with the mineral oil and beeswax finish. Endgrain timber is famously hard and durable; the end-grain pieces are fused and rested to ensure there is no movement in the board which is then fully conditioned with several coats of food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. Mounted on silicon feet, this board is steady to work on and easy to lift off the kitchen bench with its finger grooves at either end. The clearance afforded by the feet ensures that it will dry evenly when washed or wiped down plus the board comes with full care instructions.

Durable and able to take heavy-duty chopping, this board is also very attractive sitting on your work bench and makes a perfect gift for home chefs, or the entertainer or for a housewarming or wedding gift.
